Khimik delivered the twentiethth victory. This time they crushed 5th ranked Ferro-ZNTU(15-9)89-56 in Zaporozhye. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Ferro-ZNTU. The game without a history. Khimik led from the first minutes

and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Ferro-ZNTU's 34. Khimik players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. Latvian Rolands Freimanis notched 16 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Matt Gatens supported him with 15 points. Five Khimik players scored in double figures. Even 20 points by Andrei Malysh, Stanislav Ryzhov did not help to save the game for Ferro-ZNTU.

Guard Alexander Rybalko added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Khimik (20-2) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Ferro-ZNTU at the other side keeps the fifth place with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
